The HC-SR501 passive infrared sensor is a motion detector that is capable of detecting any movement made by a living object. It has a sensing range of 5 to 12 meters and an adjustable delay time of up to 60 seconds. It produces a digital signal once a motion is detected. It is compatible with Arduino, ESP, WeMos, Raspberry Pi, and Leopard boards.
